Position Summary This position is responsible for managing sales opportunities for Allsteel, Inc., to support and maximize aggressive profitable growth. Responsible to improve our effectiveness, use of programs, margin percentage and sales volume through and to our Dealer Partners. Major Duties The successful candidate will develop, plan, and execute our sales and marketing strategies with the Allsteel Dealer Distributor. Responsible to develop and maintain relationships with key influencers (A&D, Real Estate), dealer partners, end users, and other Allsteel members. May assist in the preparation of an annual strategic plan. Will prepare and present at quarterly market reviews. Manage, oversee, and generate sales activities within region of responsibility. Identify, track, and manage potential opportunities. Serve as a conduit between dealer partners, marketing, field sales, engineering, and manufacturing. Assist in recruitment and selection of exceptional human resource talent. Promote the effective use sales promotion and marketing programs. Make persuasive presentations on Allsteel's product and service offerings and capabilities. Confers with supervisor and peers in the development of business activities and revisions to above. Coordinate Allsteel's selling efforts in a complex, team oriented selling environment. Performs other duties as assigned. Oversees and assists with customer support activities within channel. Experience/Education Requirements Bachelors Degree required. MBA and professional certifications preferred. Significant experience in sales (interiors) and a proven ability to develop and maintain relationships. Knowledge of office environment issues and general business trends. Ability to identify and positively influence key decision makers and influencers. Unsurpassed communication and presentation skills, organization, and customer (internal and external) support orientation. Positive "can-do" attitude and a commitment to professionalism, integrity and sound judgment. Ability to successfully interact across business functions, from Allsteel HQ to the field sales members and independent dealers. Demonstrated ability to lead change, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and ability to enhance culture and member capabilities.
