During my last elevator inspection, one of the write-up's was the lack of an
inspection log. I asked Nancy Crumply of Dover Elevator for a clarification
and she sent me this information from the Texas Department of licensing and
Regulation TDLR QEI Bulletin 6-99-22 RE: Fire Fighters Service log...... June 2, 1999. You can right click and save these two forms and use them to avoid a discrepancy. Cover sheet The rule appears to be dated 1986, so you probably already knew about it. Nancy said you had to set off a smoke detector in a different lobby each month to test the recall. |
