Ted moved to Austin in December of 2006 to work in commercial sales for Central Transportation Systems. His focus is local and national office moving projects.

He earned his B.A. from Central Washington University, with a major in Mass Communications-Broadcast. His Seattle radio advertising sales career ended shortly after his employer sold out. An hour later he was at a pre-scheduled lunch with his college roommate.

When the two sat down, Ted's friend asked how his day was going. "Other than being fired, it's been great," he said.

"Really?" his friend responded. "That's what I wanted to talk to you about." It just so happened that the friend owned a Seattle office moving company and needed help.

That fateful lunch occurred nearly eleven years ago, and Ted has been doing sales and project management in the commercial relocation field ever since. His wife, Eileen, also works for Central Transportation as a residential sales specialist. Ted, Eileen, and their young sons are trilled to have "discovered" Austin.

Interesting tidbit... For two years after college, Ted was a DJ at a rock station.
