Amy Weldon was born in Birmingham, Alabama (yes, the accent is real) and spent much of her younger years in Houston. She holds a BA with double major of journalism and marketing from University of Houston and has worked successfully in advertising, public relations, government affairs, property management, and finally, marketing and sales.

Prior to joining Clean Scapes, Amy was a regional sales manager for Otis Elevator Company traveling a seven-state area training 77 sales reps and negotiating major contracts for a wide range of regional and national customers. Prior to working with Otis, she managed and directed marketing for a large commercial building services company in Charlotte, NC and traveled much of the southeast.

She has been an active member of BOMA and IFMA for 18+ years and is also a member of CAI and AAFAME.

Amy and hubby, Gary, are happy empty nesters with two grown daughters, Kelly and Katherine. When not working (which isn't often), she enjoys reading, travel, theatre, shopping, cooking, philanthropic service, gardening, and most water sports.

Her favorite quotes are "Well behaved women rarely make history," and "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."
