Mr. Jonathan Lusher, Senior Vice President, Consulting/Inspectional Services, IPC International Corporation, Bonnockburn, IL    Expertise:  Facility Security primarily including Shopping Centers, with a vast background and studies in criminal justice, crime prevention and crime prevention through design.

 

Mr. Pete Hugdhal, Assistant Vice President, Corporate Security, USAA, San Antonio, TX    Expertise:  Physical security of USAA personnel and facilities worldwide, with over 20 years of Air Force OSI—criminal, fraud and counterintelligence matters.

 

Mr. Daryl Dilworth, Security Operations Manager/Emergency Management Coordinator, HB Zachry Corporation    Expertise: Proven track record of loss prevention and emergency management, an experienced fire fighter as well as emergency service veteran, who developed and managed corporate security and emergency response teams in the corporate environment.

 

Mr. Jose Ramos, Facilities Coordinator, Department of Homeland Security, Laredo Field Office, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection.    Expertise: facilities design requirements for new and renovated facilities at all border crossings from Brownsville to El Paso.

 

Special Agent Mike Wise is the Weapons of Mass Destruction and Evidence Response Team coordinator for the San Antonio FBI Office.  Expertise:  Threat Alert Expert and Response Team Coordinator for the San Antonio Area.

 


Biographies:

 

Mr. Mike Williamson, a Certified Fraud Examiner, is a retired FBI agent, with responsibility for Tesoro’s security and business ethics programs.  His time in the FBI service included assignments in various large cities in the US with responsibilities ranging from white-collar crime, violent crime, foreign counter intelligence and terrorism investigations.  While in the FBI he led the Drug Task Force and an Energy Fraud Task Force.  He is a trained FBI Hostage Negotiator and experienced crisis manager. 

 

Williamson began a private sector career serving as Assistant Director of the Texaco Inc. Corporate Security Department with responsibility for Texaco’s global security operations.  Mr. Williamson contributed to the US Department of Defense Terrorism Information Awareness Project by studying methods for dissemination of terrorist threat information between government and the private sector.   He is currently a member of the US Nat’l Executive Reserve, and services as Director for the Energy Security Council and is a member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI.  He’s also served on the Advisory Board of the Harris County Department of Education Center for Safe and Secure Schools and as a Director of the Houston Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners.  a certified fraud examiner.

 

Mr. Jonathan Lusher provides Public Safety services to shopping centers and similar developments, including on-site, full-service security operations, consulting and other support services.  His previous roles included chief State regulator and facility director, as well as a detective with the Baltimore Police Department.  Mr. Lusher speaks often at conventions and seminars, and has published numerous articles on security, criminology and crime prevention.  He is Chair of the Int’l Crime Prevention through Environmental Design Association, a member of the Int’l Society of Crime Prevention Practitioner, and the American Society for Industrial Security.

 

Mr. Pete Hugdahl, Assistant Vice President, Security, at USAA, the largest private employer in San Antonio.   Mr. Hugdahl has been employed with USAA since 1987, where he is responsible for the physical security of USAA personnel and facilities at USAA locations worldwide.  Previously, he served more than 20 years in US Air Force where he was assigned with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.  His Air Force career included extensive experience in criminal, fraud a counterintelligence investigations, as well as protective services matters.  Hugdahl also served a tour at the Pentagon on the Air Force Inspection General’s staff.  He has a BS Degree from the US Air Force Academy and an MA in Guidance and Counseling from Ball State University.

 

Mr. Daryl Dilworth, Security Operations Manager/Emergency Management Coordinator, HB Zachry, developed and managed corporate security and emergency response teams charged with protecting corporate offices and industrial shop areas.  Mr. Dilworth is an emergency service veteran experienced in fire fighting, emergency medical services and emergency management.  He is knowledgeable in all aspects of OSHA and industrial safety.  Dilworth has a BA in Criminal Justice and an Associate of Arts in Fire Science, and is a member of American Society of Industrial Security.

 

Mr. Joe G. Ramos, Facility Coordinator, Laredo Field Office, Customs and Border Protection under the newly formed Department of Homeland Security has over 25 years experience in the Law Enforcement field, including work at the management level.  His work experience includes Police Officer, Department of Public Safety Officer, US Border Patrolman and US Customs.  He has worked at all levels in the field and has supervised most critical work locations within the Customs department.  Ramos oversees facility-related issues within the Laredo Field Office, which oversees ten (10) ports of entry.  He is also involved in security and operational issues at all locations.  Ramos holds a BS from Texas A&I with a major in Criminal Justice and minor in Political Science.
