OBJECTIVE: Secure a senior
position within Facilities/Project Administration.
WORK HISTORY:
- Manage multiple M.E.P. energy conservation measures for multiple
sites.
- Review and approve design documents and specifications.
- Review bid proposals and hire GC and sub contractors.
- Assist building managers with lease issues and TI work.
- Managed projects ranging from renovation of
corporate offices, new fire sprinklers and fire alarm systems, Large
mechanical system changes, CAT-6e Cabling and rack installation, large UPS’s,
PDU’s, electrical power distribution systems, ATS, and VFD’s.
- Utilize
various web based software packages for project reporting and financial approval
and reporting such as MS Trax, MS Project, SAP, MS PKC, MS Word, MS Lab, Excel
and Outlook.
- Review contractor pay request and submit for
payment.
- Coordination between building operations and
project management to assure proper commissioning of facility equipment
and O&M operations. Support power and equipment shut downs with
building operations.
- Travel throughout the Central and Western US and
build new sales offices and demonstration labs.
- Start up a new call center, hire staff, and
complete installation of cabling, telecom, network and computers for 700
personnel.
- Reviewed the physical plant for deficiencies and
make recommendations to the senior management for repairs or replacement of
physical plant equipment.
- Created budgets and staffing schedules.
- Commissioning and start-up of a new physical plant that included pumps
and motors, VFD’s boilers, chillers, generators, fuel system, start-up and
daily equipment logs.
- Create P&P’s manuals and reporting procedures and follow-up for
OSHA, Medicare, Local, State and Federal agencies.
- Request RFP’s for O&M service contracts.
- Safety Officer, reviewing reports for OSHA, JCAHO, Local, State
and Federal agencies.
- Property management duties included review of campus growth,
management of contracts and lease agreements, purchasing, negotiations on
sales of doctor offices, taxes and rents.
- Multiple budgets-Plant Operations, Security, Transportation,
Bio-med, Property management.
- Manage capital construction projects that value to $90 million in
two phases. Coordinate I/T upgrades included in the 90 million dollar
renovation project.
- Completed an in-house JCAHO survey and the real JCAHO survey 3
months later.
- Manage the construction of a new City of Austin hospital within
Brackenridge hospital. Review and approve plans and specifications. Weekly
review the schedule, budget and work in progress. Consult with Senior
Seton Management regarding ancillary contracts for services at the new
hospital.
- Coordinate with the City of Austin Building Services Department
for O&M contract maintenance services for the Primary Care Division.
- Assisted in the 80% and 100% TDH inspection for the new
hospital. .
- Contributed to the design of large information technology infrastructure
projects such as building a new communication rooms-NOC and the
installation of CAT-5 cabling, new routers, switches, racks, patch panels,
additional HVAC, UPS battery backup and dedicated electrical power.
- Installed and de-commissioned tools that support the fabrication
of computer chips.
- ***Large Infrastructure projects for a 2.8 m. sq. ft.
semiconductor manufacturing facility such as: repair/replace
infrastructure site utilities-Physical Plant equipment, emergency
generators, fiber optics/multi-mold and single mode, DI-water lines, main
PBX upgrades and chiller projects.
- Contributed in the recommendation and implementation of a large
CAFM system to support the financial reporting to Senior Management of
accounting expenses, work orders-CMM, purchasing-POs and auto-CAD
drawings.
